Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is arguably one of the most popular parks in the United States, and for good reason. The majestic and grand rock formations that reside in the Yosemite Valley are incomparable. It is also famous for its thousands of waterfalls including Bridalveil Fall, Yosemite Falls and Vernal Falls, two must-see sites. For the avid climber, the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome cannot be missed. Yosemite Village offers shops, restaurants, and lodging for the casual camper, and the Yosemite Museum and the Ansel Adams Gallery will inspire any inquisitors. Restaurants, lodging, showers and more can also be found in the Half Dome Village. Yosemite National Park is no ordinary park. It’s history has led to the development of a little town of its own, complete with a community and a post office! Camping here is a must, but be wary! You may need to reserve a spot almost a year in advance to guarantee an optimal experience at this national treasure! We definitely plan to be back, perhaps in the early spring when waterfalls are flowing fully!
