Our Story

There comes a point in your life when you have to make decisions about what to do next. For us, after some unfortunate events, it is clear to us that family is the most important thing in life and the single greatest gift anyone can give to one another is quality time. As a result, we have decided to eject ourselves from our daily routines and begin an epic trip together to enjoy and experience America’s natural beauty, diverse mix of cultures, delicious foods, make new friends on the road and connect with old friends from previous lives. Thank you for stopping by to explore with us!

Traveling Harvey

Hi! My name is Harvey and I'm 4 years old. I currently go to Hoa Mai preschool, which is Seattle's first Vietnamese Bilingual school. My parents told me that I will be going on a long adventure and I said, "yay!!".  On this trip, my parents said that I will need to improve my reading and writing skills to prepare for "kindergarten", whatever that is.

I love to build things out of Legos, tear them apart and build something else again. In the winter, I like to ski, climb indoor, and paint. When the weather is warmer, I enjoy riding my bike as fast as I can and go to the park every day. On the weekends, I like to visit the zoo to see bugs and the aquarium to say hi to the hermit crabs and play in the gift shop.

I LOVE to eat! My favorite foods are cheese pizzas, mangoes, noodles, rice, spring rolls, ice cream, and candy. :-)

I am super excited for this long adventure with my parents and look forward to the hikes to find sticks, maybe catch fishes, shellfishes, and insects at all the National Parks that we will visit.

Traveling MCN

I’m originally from Vietnam but was raised in Seattle since I was a child.

Growing up in an immigrant family with 6 sisters, traveling was something I dreamed about.  Ever since I was in sixth grade, I fantasized about going to see the "Great Pyramids" because I thought it was the most amazing thing I've ever learned about in school.

While attending UW, my dream came true when I set sailed through the Semester at Sea program. I visited 12 countries around the world, and one of them was Egypt.

I currently work for the world's largest travel company, Expedia and after 7 years, I have decided to quit my job to travel with my family.

I have been fortunate to live out my dream and have traveled to over 40 countries and 27 states. Can't wait to go and explore new places!

Like Harvey always said, "I'll go where you go!"

Traveling Vu

I was born in Vietnam and grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. From tinkering with small appliances to replacing a clutch on a Tacoma pickup and gutting a 100 years old house, I am an inquisitive individual wanting to take on the creations of nature.

My hobbies include biking, running, playing tennis and racquetball, triathlons, weight training, cross-fit, hiking, camping, cooking, brewing beer, skydiving, scuba diving, motorcycle adventures, and most importantly spending time with my family.  I am the type of person who will try everything!

I served in the US Naval Submarine force and Civil Engineer Corps (Seabees), and am now a veteran.  After 5 years at Expeditors, my wife and I have decided to quit our jobs and spend more time together as a family and explore America’s beautiful National Parks and colorful cities.

As passionate travelers, we want to expose Harvey to new places, cultures, cuisines, and history. Above are some pictures from Italy, Turkey, France, Spain, Malta, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Greece, Japan, and USA.
